This merge will provide you with all of the benefits of both sites conveniently accessed from TrimbleOutdoors.com. Please read the answers to the most commonly asked questions:
General questions
What is the nature of the change?
The AllSportGPS.com web site has been moved to TrimbleOutdoors.com, meaning that you can now access and edit your AllSport GPS data on TrimbleOutdoors.com. AllSportGPS.com pages are no longer accessible.
What is the impact of the change on me?
Overall, the impact is positive. You will need to learn some new ways to create and edit your AllSport GPS data, but the benefits are significant:
- you will become a part of a larger community of outdoor lovers sharing their trips on TrimbleOutdoors.com
- you will gain access to a number of time-saving features not available on AllSportGPS.com
- if you have both the AllSport GPS and Trimble Outdoors phone applications, you will now only need one web account
- when you create a high quality trip, it may be added to a unique Google Earth layer that draws content from this site
- you will have free access to the Adventure Planner mapping and editing software
AllSportGPS.com uses terms like "activity", "session", "track" and "route". On TrimbleOutdoors.com I see terms like "trip" and "route". What are the terminology changes I need to be aware of?
Trimble Outdoors calls everything a "trip". Some trips have timestamps and speed information (these would have been called "sessions" before), some don’t (these would have been called "routes" before). A trip can be compared to another trip in the same way that AllSport sessions were allowed to be compared to each other by "following a route".
Login and registration
Do I need to register again?
No. If you have an AllSportGPS.com web account, you will be able to log in to TrimbleOutdoors.com without having to re-register.
Can I still log in with my phone number or email address, or I need to log in using my display name?

Do I still have separate web and phone passwords?
The only place the website uses a phone password is to connect your AllSport phone app to your user account. The phone application will still use it the same way that it always has. You will never use the phone password to log into TrimbleOutdoors.com. Please see detailed info here.

Trip (activity) viewing and editing
How can I view / edit my activities created before this transition?
When you log in, click "My Account" on the top navigation bar and then click "My Trips" or "Calendar". This will display all your trips and allow you to edit them.
What are the differences between the activity editor on AllSportGPS.com and trip editor on TrimbleOutdoors.com?
The interface is different, but the functionality is about the same. Please see detailed instructions.
Can I still manually create an activity or route?
Yes. Create a trip online and add a "duration" and "mileage" under "Advanced Options".
Can I still upload data from a Garmin or Magellan receiver?
For information about the Garmin interface, click here. To exchange data with Magellan devices, you will need the Adventure Planner software (free for Trimble Outdoors and AllSport GPS phone application users).
ATTENTION: There are currently some issues with our Garmin uploader. We are working to resolve them and will post a notice to the Forums when this is completed.
Is the AllSport GPS Synch application still supported?
At this time the AllSport GPS Synch application is not compatible with this web site.
How do I view my workout totals?
When you log in, click "My Account" on the top navigation bar and then click "Totals".
Is there still a photo gallery to show the photos for a trip?
Yes.
How do I add Turn by Turn instructions?
From the map editor, select a point in the track and select "point properties".
How do I delete an activity?
When you log in, click "My Account" on the top navigation bar and then click "My Trips". This will allow you to delete any trips(look for the red X).
Working with the phone application
What is changing in the behavior of the AllSport GPS application on my phone?
From your perspective, nothing. The only difference is that the data downloads and uploads to TrimbleOutdoors.com, but you won't notice this.
How do I download tracks or routes to my phone?
When viewing any trip on TrimbleOutdoors.com, click "Send Trip To: My Phone" on the left hand side.

I have shared links to my activities with my friends; will these links continue to work?
Yes! Any link to a page displaying your activity will continue to work.
